dear developers,
I love compiz. I have it enabled on all my boxes less my laptop which sports a rather forgotten S3 ProSavage video card.
I know that it is not your fault, it seems that the savage driver cannot support "non power of two textures" and this is pretty fatal to compiz.
My question (supplication) is: in an open source world is it possible to have a partial/incomplete support for compiz even on those cards? I mean why nobody focus on workarounds on hardware issues for the sake of compiz?
