Looks good. Where did you get the calendar from? Anyway, here's where I'd change it:
1. I'd make my AWN less blue, and add both green and blue there (the shades from the wallpaper)
2. I'd use NuoveXT or Glass Icons (both available from www.gnome-look.org) as my icon set, as they really go well with dark themes.
3. I'd get a bluish greenish, dark skydome to match that wallpaper. Vista's aurora effect with lots more black would look good.
4. I'd get a system monitor like GKrellM or Conky. Conky wouldn't look too bad on your desktop, you've got lots of space. I on the other hand have too many icons on mine. The left side has lots of stuff, the right side is for removable and static drives.

Very nice.
it is amazing that there are as many different desktops etc as there are fusion users.
i am most definitly interested in the calendar.
If you wouldnt mind, could you tell what that is from ?

Besides the whole "looks like windows thing"... it has a pretty cool color contrast. Sort of a dark glossy minimalism. It looks good. I would try to find a skydome that isn't as blurry.
