I've actually always bee a huge fan of the two sided desktop since it was available.

"Work" and "Play" ;) easiest dichotamy in the world

I prefer three viewports for quick accessibility: all other viewports are immediately accessible within one flip, no matter where you are (whereas with four sides, you would need two jumps to reach the viewport opposite the current one). I used to have a constantly transparent triangular prism; windows on other viewports are much clearer at a tilt of 45 degrees (rather than 90 degrees, as on a cube). It made for very good observation of all open windows.

The only reason I gave that up was because three viewports were too few. ;)

Anyway, it's always nice to see screenshots of something other than a cube. :)

yes it works on fedora 8, just go in ccsm --> General --> Desktop Size and choose how many desktops you want
