well it is Wednesday August 29, 2007.
There are still issues with trevinos repository or the compiz-fusion itself.
As of to day fusion has a few problems. The Viewport Switcher plugin does not work with wacom tablet nor does it use beryl's default mouse actions or it would work with wacom. This plugin is essential for my clients who need wacom tablet and the default beryl mouse actions to work.
Flash electric storm still does not work nor are the any keybindings for it, i am not suggesting that this plugin is even necessary, however it is in ccsm and therefore should work.
3D windows works but the window thickness settings does not work at all.
Screensaver plugin still no keybindings.
Something has changed in the enhanced zoom making it more diffiucult to use with wacom tablet. i was hoping that this would not have changed at all since it was flawless with the wacom tablet when it was first in ccsm. Please revert back to the original.
I am still going through all the settings and animations to see what else is not quite right but these are the ones that have stood out now for several weeks.
thanks

Hi coz :)
See this (http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/compiz/2007-August/002616.html) yet? I like the look of the new ccsm (as seen on SmSpillaz blog (http://smspillaz.wordpress.com/2007/08/28/93/)) but i'm sticking with the 0.5.2 release until things settle down. I only have one machine, and i need to use it! Heh.
Cheers,
David

I'll just point out that trevino's repos are based on the latest files from git http://forum.compiz-fusion.org/showthread.php?t=1012, and as such are expected to break...

If you need fusion in any professional situation, as in you probably don't want it to break..... :p, then it's probably a good idea to stick with the current release version (i.e. 0.5.2 release :D)

well hello everyone and thanks for replying in some way to my post.
i put this post here not because I am confused as to how to work the plugins but as a digest of what is occurring with this particular repository.
I prefer using Trevino's repository because, like shame's debian repo, he offers users more choices which is the proper approach to open source software.
As far as the screensaver plugin.. it works fine but only on automatic..there are no keybinding options.. For some reason they have been omitted and I assume the will return shortly. If they are not returned then please get rid of the screensaver plugin. if it has no options then it doesn't belong in open source software.
As for the plugins mentioned, they are broken or unusable in the current state.
No keybindings is broken to me!
Thanks guys
