Now that Screenlets has its own website, a redirect from forum(s).screenlets.org to this forum (or even a brand new forum especially dedicated to Screenlets with categories to tidy up a little)
would be nice.
Also , using Remura from the Mozilla Foundation would be more practical to handle screenlets (It's GPL)

Hi teolemon!
I already thought about creating a screenlets forum - if people want it and would use it (I assume they would :)), I can create one ... I think I'll set up a poll to see what people think of this idea.
And can you briefly explain what exactly that Remora is? I couldn't find anything about it ... (I planned to write a wiki-Specialpage to simplify uploading own screenlets, but if there is an existing extension for that it would save me some time.)
:)

Remora is a Mozilla online app that handles the process of extensions. You can see it running at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/

Ahh - now I understand :) ...
So it is some stand-alone system for managing extensions? It looks good, maybe I'll try it on my localhost later today - thank you for the hint.

The fact is that many projects should already be using it(basically all the project that have to plugin/extension system such as Gaim, The Gimp, Gnome ...).
It would really do good to open-source as it helps growing an eco-system around the applications.
