How to remove Screenlets completely (for reinstallation)

I've installed screenlets before from the .tar.gz file, but found the FAQ on screenlets.org that says I can just get them from repositories. So I searched for screenlets in the 'Search for files...', but I can't seem to be able to delete any of them - it just says permission denied.

Help please :/
