I am using Recordmydesktop, Istanbul and my PC dont like each other.

I would use Istanbul as well if I wouldn't use a 2560x1024 desktop - it's just too much for any recording app. But Istanbul itself is good.

I want to know how to use the screencasting plugin
because if it's better than the capture plugin which i once saw in sam's blog, then that would be the way to go :D
(the capture plugin was around back in beryl days and worked so damn well to record the desktop :D)

I think that vidcap was done with yukon?

Only thing I can't get yukon to record is glxgears, too bad, vidcap was really cool.
