Hello,
It's easy to do. Just go to your first post in the thread and click on Edit. Then click on Go Advanced, next to the save button.
At the top of the next page you can choose the tag you want from a drop-down box just to the left of your title, just like when you first start a thread.
NB You have to do this on the first post. There is also a time-limit of 30 days, after which you will need to ask a moderator to do it for you.
If you get a working answer to a question in a support thread, for example, you can help make the forums more useful by giving the title a [Solved] tag.
