I checked the option to have transparency and there is a "problem" with the intersections between the faces and the cube caps when the intersection is not horizontal nor vertical (see image below). I understand it is unavoidable to have this kind of inaccuracies, but I think a possible and better way to improve it would be to linearly interpolate the pixels on intersections lines so there would be no annoying artefacts left ! Or at least let the user select its own color so that he can hide these a little (I'd use a near black color by example).
