Unfortunatly I understand that trevino's repo is currently broken. I believe they are working on it now.
You could try using Amaranth's gutsy backport repo on: http://forum.compiz-fusion.org/showthread.php?t=3153
Hope that helps.

PS. Thread titles need to be descriptive to help searching for information. For example this thread could have been something like: "Fusion broken after update from Trevino's Ubuntu Feisty Repo" or similar.
Thanks.

PPS: See how this similar (later) thread got an answer:

For me the "New update" erased all of my old settings, skydomes, cubecaps, etc...

After fixing all of my settings, I noticed 3 things that don't work now:

#1) The Screen Saver for the unofficial plug-ins doesn't work at all.

#2) All reflection settings look bad if you select a color for Ground color (far)...

...if you do use a color for that setting, there is a noticeable line where the color starts. It is very noticeable after an opacity setting of 5....and gets worse the more you raise the opacity level.

#3) If I unfold the cube with ctrl+alt+down...it gets stuck on the slider and won't go back to the desktop.

I'm sure these will be fixed in the next few updates.

Trevino has been away for a while, but is now back and working on the repo:
http://forum.compiz-fusion.org/showpost.php?p=23290&postcount=49

You can wait for that, or check out the link i gave above, its up to you.
Either way, best of luck!

Well, for #3) I can switch desktops using the Shifter or regular "ctrl+alt+left/right", as for #2) it's not that important, and as for #1) I do miss my Screen Saver plug-in, but I can wait until they fix it because I'm sure it will just get better.

I guess I just posted to confirm that it was a strange update.

I bypass the errors by going to the CompizConfig Settings Manager, and set the Backend to "Flat-file Configuration Backend". It's under the "Perferences" link on the main page.
