Hi,

I'm using Compiz Fusion since a moment and it work quite well!!!
I've installed it using the 3vin0 repo for ubuntu feisty and today after an upgrade of all the compiz-fusion packages I'v noticed two thing.
First, everything seems to be faster! That's realy nice (I'm using a i855GM intel chipset that's not very powerfull)
Second, before this update, the scale plugin always show the entire list of open windows but now it only shows the open windows from the current desktop... I know compiz fusion is under heavy dev so if it's because you're implementing something new I'll wait. But if there is a way to use the scale plugin as before I'll be very happy!
I've already look in the option editor and in gconf-editor but I've found nothing...

Thx!

Edit: compiz is 0.5.3 and ccsm is 0.5.2

hello

Edit: compiz is 0.5.3 and ccsm is 0.5.2

you mean compiz is version 0.5.3 and compiz-fusion is 0.5.2

ccsm is the settings manager

if you go into ccsm -> scale -> Actions

set the keybindings you want for "Initiate window picker for all windows"

.... :D

Thx for the fast answer but if it were so easy I wouldn't made a post ;)
The fact is there is no more action tab and no more field to give the keybindings...

hmmm, weird.....

I'm not sure......

hopefully somone else might have a better idea on what's going on, there seems to be a few threads with ccsm being weird....

I can confirm this with trevino's latest build. The Actions menus are missing in everything except unsupported plugins, and they seem to have been replaced by checkmarks that simply enable or disable the action.

Here are the other relevant threads.

To the mods: perhaps these can be merged?

I'm not sure if this might help, but I installed Compiz via this guide - https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CompositeManager/CompizFusion, and I do have the "Initiate Windows Picker For All Windows" option.

I can confirm that Trevino's repo is currently broken see crdlb:
http://forum.compiz-fusion.org/showpost.php?p=23545&postcount=7

However i also read that Trevino is working to update it, see:

Hope that helps,
