Firstly, my apologies if a similar plugin is already created. I'm very new to this forum and unfortunately can't do much in the way of research being a 56k user with limited time. If there's another plugin such as this already in existance, I'll gladly go to it upon being pointed that way, no questions asked.
I'm wondering if there's a plugin already available or someone willing to work on such a plugin regarding cube-side identification. Much like the Audacious OSD when changing a song, the cube-side identifying box (rectangle, rounded rectangle, concave rectangle [personal favorite due to the renaissance way it appears]) would appear when changing the cube face and appear as the title (font alterable) in which you've personally set. ie:
Desktop 1: Desktop One Display (personally set title)
Desktop 2: Desktop Two Display (personally set title)
Desktop 3: Desktop Three Display (personally set title)..
.. so on and so forth.
The usage? Other than eye candy, I'll admit it seems to be a limited bunch in terms of usefulness. I can see organizing your desktops as they are per their title, or just another eye catch in terms of dressing up your desktop. Either way, I can see it's usefulness and also it's lack thereof.
Still, while it's in my head, I thought I'd throw it out there regardless.
