I'd like to see the cube taken to a Spherical object, almost like a basketball, only it would have a glass surface and maybe and HDR Render to make it shine, further, with the kiba dock installed, one could click on a program and have the program take focus all while watching your spinning hdr sphere in the background?
This feature, if it makes it, would have to be explicitly for nvidia geforce 6000 and/or ati Radeon 9000 and later cards unless that could be efficiently rendered on lower end cards.
Who knows, but it would rock.
