Window Previews becoming corrupted over time! Help

Hi, i have a annoying problem with Window Previews plugin..

After some time they get ugly and not drawed correctly... i mean at first they look good and with rounded form... but after some time something happens that turn my previews is a white and ugly square..

BTW.. i have an ATI card if that helps...

Please dont bump.
You could try changing your title to something more descriptive eg:
"Preview windows becoming corrupted over time"
If you can't resist bumping, then at least add something, eg, What distro, desktop, CF version, method of build/repo, model of card, rendering method etc etc.
Hope you do get an answer.

Oops... sry :)

Graphic Card: ATI RADEON X1950 (so im with XGL session :()

Distro: Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn 2.6.20 generic kernel
Desktop: Gnome

Compiz-Fusion version is 5.02 ( but i think last night it update the core to 5.03 and there is still the same problem)

I builded with Treviño's repos..

PD: sry, but how can i change the title of the post?

Edit post and click on "go advanced" in bottom right corner next to save.
that will let you edit the title.

:) i changed the title... but i wonder if there's a way to change it completely... i mean when u enter the forum and see the title changed before actually enter to it.. maybe that's a mod only operation :(

BTW,, back to the topic... do u have this problem?? maybe the problem is my ATI card?. . i can see that u have ATI/XGL also

Thanks for trying to change the title. I don't know why it wont change at the top. My information is incomplete i think. I will have to find out, before i suggest to to anyone else.

As for your problem, no. I do not use window previews so haven't some accross it. And also i'm not very technical - just a user. If i see any mention of this though, i will be sure to post a link here for you.

ps. I just found out that the way to edit the thread title, is to use the "edit thread" dropdown from the "thread tools" menu option. However this has a time limit of 1 hour. I'm asking about this now (http://forum.compiz-fusion.org/showthread.php?p=23528#post23528).

I was thinking that, it can be the ATi card, because ive installed Ubuntu + Nvidia + Compiz-Fusion in my cousin's PC and he told me that the Window Previews are ok....and he hasnt seen the error/problem that i have.. :confused:

I changed it. :)

I was very surprised to learn that a time limit had been placed on when users were allowed to change the titles of their own threads. The limit's been raised to 30 days now, so that will hopefully improve the situation.

Also, there's apparently an Edit Thread command under the Thread Tools menu (above the first post) that allows you to change the thread title instead of just the title of the first post.

I wish I could offer help with your other problem, too, but this is the first time I've heard of it, so I don't have a solution for you.

keeping my eye out for you, but havn't seen any mention of this as such.
There's gonna be a new Wiki soon, which will include things like how to file bug reports. You might want to report this as a bug, once that system is set up properly.
