Plugin Request: Ability to "throw" windows around.

Hi,

I have only recently started using Compiz Fusion (just installed it on my laptop, on Ubuntu). I think it is simply wonderful. I wanted to make a request about a feature that is commonly being developed now for large displays.

The ability to simply throw windows around. E.g. I grab a window accelerate my mouse in a direction and then let go of the window. This should let the window slide on for a distance, possibly over to the next desktop or two. I could see where it went on the desktop thumbnail at the lower corner or maybe with a shift or super key pressed the desktops could turn and follow it to wherever it goes.

Again this is some very impressive work. I love it.

the wobbly window effect let you do that... But it may be cool to be able to throw window without the wobbly effect. So it would be faster...

Throwing windows with the wobby effect isn't very effective. The window keeps dancing for a moment and is unselectable for quite some time. What I am requesting is a real throw plugin. I might write it myself. I just need to get a handle on the compiz api.

that's a good idea. If I could just "toss" windows to the next desktop that would be good for productivity.
