I would like to try to gather together a set of cube cap images and skydome images (and maybe wallpapers).
They can be distributed with the compiz-extra package and a configuration tool could list them in a drop down so you do not have to hunt for images to change the default cap and skydome.
The cube caps could probably be sized in standard screen sizes and the skydome images would obviously be converted from their original image to something guaranteed to load.
If you do submit any third party skydome images, please can you provide a link to the original download so that we can check the licence is OK to distribute. We do not want to start looking for a server in China ;)
