Hey guys, what's up! I was thinking that we need to have a FAQ, but I can't think of any good questions. Maybe some of you can start posting interesting, useful questions in this thread, and then we can pick the best ones and put them in a FAQ here in the forums and in the wiki. What do you all think?
Cheers

I think we could have a FAQ for these general questions plus a Troubleshooting section for common errors.
eg.
My titlebars are missing
composite extension missing etc
They could include instructions on how to diagnose the problem yourself. Its often hard to diagnose a problem because the user might not be able to describe it precisely enough.
eg. No window borders could actually mean that compiz crashed or that gwd isn't running or that the xorg config is wrong. We could ask questions like, if you press alt and click on a window does it move? If yes, this means compiz didnt crash, if compiz did crash your problem is that compiz doesnt start. Next - try running gtk-window-decorator --replace etc etc
