Shift PLugin initiation question?

Can i set it so switch plugin coem on when ever i scroll my mouse? But the catch is only when my mouse is on the desktop? So i can still scroll in firefox and other windows...?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that requires

a) Mouse Support, which I talked to onestone about and he doesn't think its possible. (It might be, because the plugin is based on ring and scale... but... you know.

b) Input redirection - Compiz needs to know what window you are scrolling and where you are scrolling :D

well with beryl we could middle clikc on teh desktop to rotate the cube? This would juts initiate something else and be a roll the middle button to get it to activate a plugin....
