Changes to Cube:
When I unfold, I want to see all of my screens, not just 3 of them. Allow this to be configureable. It should be able to put them in one strip like it is now, or each desktop should take a quadrant of the screen, with a black box, allowing me to selected the desktop that i want to go to. A similar app to switcher, instead of apps, that has desktops is another possibility.
Also. it would not be practical, but having 6 desktops with one on top and on the bottom. This is not actually geometrically possible as no computer screen i have ever encounted is perfectly square. However, if that is not a consideration, it would work. It is also imporatant to keep the desktop oriented the right way no matter what. ( i like my windows rightside up thank you very much.) If you're not sure what im talking about, take a rectangular prism (like a book or box) and rotate it both left/right and up/down. you will find that the text is not always oriented the right way.
General Changes:
Compiz should understand be able align my windows in a desktop. Similar to windows "align windows vertical" (or horizontal), it should also learn to tile.
Maybe I cant find it, but is there an "always on top" feature?
The current hotkeys are overwhelming. There should be a "reset all to default" and a "clear all hotkeys".
Support for "fn" keys that i have on my laptop keyboard would be really nice.
Thanks for all your work. I wish you best of luck as you work on Compiz. Good luck.
