Changes to scale:

When in scale, it would be nice to be able to interact with the applications.

Every application, when in scale, should have a little red dot with an "x" in the right hand corner. when clicked, the application closes. Scale should contintut to run without reorginizing. (ie. everything shold stay the same except the closed window should not be there anymore.)

This would be the first step in allowing more function in the scale plugin. in the future, I hope to see each application with their own predetermined fucntions.

For example, in scale:
Amarok (and other media/video players) should be able to play/pause next previous volume up & down.
Nautilus (and other file managers) should be able to paste.
This should be highly configurable.

So far, I am greatly impressed with the work that the Compiz team has put into this development. If you have any questions about my suggestions, I would be happy to give further explination if emailed at dchang<at>imsa.edu.Thank you.

I agree with David's assertion about interaction.

I have an Idea that I would love for productivity: Allow a mode that tiles all windows, with one window large and interactable, the rest scaled to the side or top (optional for the user). That way the user can monitor the scaled windows, and swap one with the active application with a single click on the desired window.

Here is a mock up image of a possible layout. The window on the left would be fully interactive, the others are updating live, and can be quickly swapped with the main window.

I really like this idea also. This would be a great productivity enhancer for me.

That's a great idea and will certainly be possible when compiz is input transform aware (which should be pretty soon).
