Could someone provide an example of how to use the wallpaper plugin or an example with the documentation?

maybe is best that u made new wallpapar pluginNo. It'd be much better if Nautilus would be patched to support transparency, so that we can set wallpapers behind it while it draws our desktop icons.
Also, delfick, he meant that you could go to Places -> Desktop in the GNOME menu to open your Desktop folder in a file browser window (to access any files you may have there).

oh, that makes more sense :D
two problems, a) not quite as good, especially with my oversized cions b) i use the usp :D, i have a button in the sidebar for it, so no need to go to "places" :D :P

There are patches to make wallpaper work with nautilus while it still draws the desktop icons. An HOWTO on that for compiz-fusion would be nice. They are mentioned in another thread.

After adding the file:// and :100 i get OH joy different wallpapers on different viewports as I should,
but
although my screen resolution is 1440x900, same as the images, my transparent toolbars in gnome still show the original wallpaper underneath (i.e non compiz wallpaper) Can this be fixed? Nautilus dosnt draw the desktop by default.
also what is the 100 for?
cheers

Thanks. Problem is though I use xfce4 and without xfdesktop which draws the wallpaper I get no root menu. So either I get seperate wallpapers and no root menu or root menu but all same wallpaper. The wallpaper really helps with telling which viewport you're working on. I might request and see if they can seperate the two, or someone converts that menu plugin.
BTW, if you set the backgrounds in the cube options, it does the same thing pretty much.
