"Animations" should disable "Fading Windows" (at least the option "Fade On Minimize/Open/Close"), and the other way around.
When both of these plugins are enabled, when a popup/window is closing, first the animation is shown and than the popup/window reappears and than it fades away :( It looks bad :(

You are right. It's currently problematic since it's not done automatically. That's why I recently sent a patch to the compiz ML to fix the issue for good. Waiting for David Reveman to consider the patch for inclusion.

I believe it's left on because the fade is still utilized by the Magic Lamp effect. If you reset the fade timings to the default value it (should) eliminate the menu fade errors and leave the fade in place on Magic Lamp. So please don't patch this, it's not really a bug, it's a feature. :lol:

Reseting the timings doesn't do anything :(
