Not sure if this is the right place to ask about this. I used to enjoy playing with the somewhat unstable kiba-dock program late last year but ever sense november of 06 this program has run extremely slow and displays corrupted icons. It has been totally unusable sense november, where as, it at least looked good and ran smooth before that.

I use Gentoo and install it through the xeffects overlay so maybe the overlay has just not updated it sense november? Anyone able to use this dock program any more or is the project dead? It looked very promising and I loved to be able to throw the icons around the screen.

It has been taken over by someone and it's currently developed here: http://www.kiba-dock.org
I haven't followed the project's status though, because I personally don't like the new direction.
I'm still using a very old version where it's only an application-launcher.

I prefer avant-window-navigator, in SVN it has widgets and there are patches around to get reflection like in Leopard![attachment=0:ee6ee]Screenshot.png[/attachment:ee6ee]
