I'm pretty new to the whole Linux thing. I was just wondering how decent your system has to be for all that to run so smoothly? I have a 1.5 GHz PC, 768 MB of RAM, 16MB graphics card...will it run alright?

Compiz will not run well, if at all, on a 16MB graphics card. Linux, however, should run just fine assuming all the hardware is supported.

I got a 1.5Ghz PC, 512 Ram, but 32mb graphics... Compiz works perfect.

(and yes, my laptop isn't even "vista capable").
