I've realized the we have no "put" plug in as in beryl ( If you don't what this plugin dows it just throw a window to any direction using key binding). I've found this plugin very useful on his rudimentary features.
I think it empowers the user's "spatial" use of their viewports. I don't know so I'll ask... Are there intentions of porting this plugin to compiz?, is it another plugin that solves this needs and I'm messing some config? if not of any of the above just: why?.

Thanks in advance.

The put plugin is part of the compiz-extra package. Combine with mousegestures for maximum effect ;)

Ohh, thanks for making it clear.

I've trying to change some settings on gconf but nothing seems to happen.
Could you give me some details on how do I have to proceed?.

And bye the way. Mouse gestures is one thing I have been looking for long, but I don't really understand enough how the whole thing works.

Thanks again.

You should be able to load the put plugin into active plugins, then use Super + the keypad buttons to move the windows about. Let me know which setting you are having trouble with.

You can start by copying and pasting the example settings that are in the mousegestures thread, if you have any problems, post there ;)

Thanks man, I was missing that, I'm not too used to gconf, but I'm learning how to use it, it is a great config tool
