After toying with linux a few years back and dropping (sorry fans) due to the fact that apart from the stability issue I could see no real reason to move over.

Then one fateful day a friend showed me his Ubuntu distro with Beryl running on a fairly mid spec PC and how it compared to the XP install on the same machine.

I have to say after the initial dribbling over the interface which makes Vista "new" Aero look about 10 years out of date.

So i decided to have another play and have never looked back, all my previous fears have gone, semi easy installs are there, even wine has come of age.

Anyways seeing as this is a Beryl forum not Linux i'll stay on the right tracks, at the mo i'm just usiing the default options wobbly windows & cube just wondered if anyone could point me to some good setting/plugins to try to really show me it's potential.

On a final note it's great to see something that makes windows users finally take notice that Linux is better not just able to do what Windows can do so pls pls pls don't make this availiable to Windows :) OS X maybe but not M$

Most developers in this project are passionate linux users (and developers), so why should they make anything for free for Windows? :) Linux is the way, Open Source is the way. Proprietary M$ Windows is just for corporations seeking profit. Open Source is by, and for, the community.
