View Full Version : Build-dependencies for compiz could not be satisfied

I'm following the instructions [url=http://forums.opencompositing.org/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=758:73331]here[/url:73331], and when I get to installing the build dependencies for compiz I run into a problem. apt-get informs me that the dependencies "could not be satisfied", but isn't any more specific than that.

A fair amount (I think ;)) of googling and forum searching has failed to tell me even how to find out what the dependencies are, let alone how to 'satisfy' them. I was using compiz 0.5 from the repositories at ubuntu.moshen.de, but have now uninstalled that, and reverted to the bog-standard ubuntu reps (since none are specified in the tutorial)

Any pointers, or anyone facing similar problems?

Try asking in the thread you referenced and the question will be seen by
the people using that repo.

It says replies can't be posted in that thread. It's a locked tutorial thread or something.

sooo.... bump? (sorry)
