hi all
i have download the git version of compiz
when i run the autogen i see: checking for GTK_WINDOW_DECORATOR... no
and than
the following optional plugins will be compiled:
glib: yes
gconf: yes
place: yes
dbus: no
annotate: yes
svg: no
inotify: yes
fuse: no

and the following optional features will be compiled:
gtk: no
metacity: no
gnome: no
kde: no

what is the problem?...i installed all dev packages;running ''env'' i don't find the variable GTK_WINDOW_DECORATOR
thank for any suggestion

looks like libwnck-devel/control-center-devel might be missing

BTW, are you using XGL ? If yes, how did you compile the same or from where did you get the package ?

i downloaded it from the git repository of compiz
git clone git://git.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/app/compiz
i don't know if it is the right method to have the last development release
i use xgl because in fc7+xorg7.2, aiglx crash every time that i disable beryl or compiz; when it crashes i have to reboot manually the machine.
however i think that xgl, in my configuration, goes like a charm, even better than aixgl; wobbly plug in runs perfectly.
