I think all the rush is because their afraid users realize there is no need for this forums and site :P
Maybe in the future any one that makes a new compiz plugin will have is own site :)

I'm not too fond of the the new front page for this site. Neither design nor content hit the mark and make clear what this 'portal' is all about.
