[SOLVED] How come posts are being moderated suddenly?

I just posted a reply on the name poll thread and it said it would be moderated before being publicly viewable.
I never noticed this before, isn't it going to cause some confusion if one is answering a query, only to find that when it is viewable another 10 people have also answered, which one wouldn't have known because those posts were also being moderated at the time?

Something must be wrong. I just checked the thread and sure enough your post is
being moderated and i can't see any reason why. I have sent a message to iXce
and he is looking into it. I will approve your message as there is no reason why it
should be moderated at all. I apologies for this error.

Thanks for letting us know. I fixed your post. Please be aware that as far as i know
we will not moderate any post as long as it is not derogatory against a given individual
or specific project. And obviously as a contributing member of this community you have
never done that, that i have seen. Again i apologies for this bug in our forum.

I think it's because I made it a global announcement. I've changed it to a sticly, and it's now in Official Announcements.
