6 KB avatar size max?

That's a little spare, isn't it? I have this tiny 100 x 100 avatar and I can't squeeze it any smaller than 6.4 KB, even with ruthless optimization.

Do you think maybe you could bump it up to something bloated and decadent, like 10 kb? :lol:

I'm impressed that you got your avatar as small as you did! Only 5.46 KB? Very good!

*tries the shrinking thing* Oh, wow, JPEG compression (5.0 KB at 90% quality) is startlingly efficient compared to lossless PNG compression (20.7 KB at compression level 9). o.O If I wasn't so concerned with subtleties in colour, I might use it more often.
