[SOLVED] Beryl Benchmark?

I run gentoo on an amd dual core x4200 a8vdeluxe with a evga 7800 video card and get close to 2000 fps with the benchmark, bur beryl always causes problems, no login screen after creensaver comes on, kmenu categories get covered requiring a window decorator reload and so on, gentoo on an abit with an amd 3000 single core with identical video card runs perfect and gets 80 fps on the benchmark, What the hell is going on?

You've probably got vsync enabled on the abit one.

Uncheck 'Detect Refresh Rate' and set it 'Refresh Rate' to about 200. You shouldn't be getting 200fps on that card - more like 200-300
Also uncheck 'Sync to VBlank'

Yep, sync to vblank makes the difference, now its up in the 1000-2000 mark
