Why the forum has the phpBB logo ?

I don't understand Why the forum has the phpBB logo...
It really look like a unofficial forum for compcomm..

If you don't have any logo, just remove the phpBB logo !!

For me... its kinda obvious which site this is... and I'm no genius... far from it...
So I don't see a problem here?

The site will take a more individual form when a name is chosen and the project gets a logotype.

Why is it necessary to have a new name and logo, just to take down the phpBB logo? Of course it isn't.

A blank space there, at least, would not so much suggest a just-created, amateurish forum (although it wouldn't contribute much, either).

this is all a waste of time! why a new logo and a new name and new forums and new site? why don't we all just use the site and forums at compiz.org and leave this server for something more useful, like planet.compiz.org blog.compiz.org etc...

If there will be one. There is no need to hurry. We have all the time in the world I assume. Name, logo and artwork come last, in chronological order.
