Normal "brighter" themes and colors started hurting my eyes, so I went about whipping something together that was a little easier to stare at for days at a time.

I never really liked white on black, I find it hard to read.

You combined two of my favorite desktop design elements:
- black theme
- wallpapers that look like wallpaper

I'd love to get a PNG of that background of yours and a source if you have it.

Yes, it's a good shot..
But..
What are those ugly pixelized fonts ? It reminds me Windows 8O

I kind of like that font, good for programming purposes ... but when I write I use Monaco ;)

I wish I could get Monaco to look the same under Linux as it does OSX. Terminus does the trick for me, though.


Hells_Dark: The terminal and vim session are Terminus, everything else is Trebuchet MS. I haven't been able to figure out how to disable italic fonts which, I agree, do look ugly.
