Possibility of hiding chosen subforums in "View new posts"

Hi,

This forum will have in future as many posts per day as on ubuntu forums. I would like to have an option in "User Control Panel" such as "Don't show me new posts from subforums: X, Y, Z"

It will be good. I could concentrate only on this subforums in which I'm interested.

When phpBB 3 RC1 comes out (soon), mods will start being created for phpBB3. Until then A) We won't modify it ourselves B) no one else will.

The reason is that the code could change, and then the mod would have to be reinstalled, and rewritten.

there is a lot going on in the international forums that I don't give a crap ( I don't speak Spanish :) ) about so it would be nice to skip some of them.

by the looks of the dates of those posts, this thread was made before we moved to vbulletin, so it might be (don't actually know though :D)

But really, the ability to exclude certain forums from New Posts and Today's Posts has the potential to be pretty helpful, so why not?
