now in 10.2 RC1,after i installed the latest nvidia
driver XGL hardware list "in gnome desktop effects" tells my card isnt supported in the XGL hardware list! any idea what happens? is it driver mess up or really my FX5200 dropped from the supported cars list?
ps. that where i found about beryl and it doesnt requaire XGL to work, can compiz do that? if not is that the only def between beryl and compiz?! i respect compiz more

Don't go by what "gnome desktop effects" says, you can get 3D and Xgl activited by doing the following:

As root

init 3
Log in as root and

gnome-xgl-switch --enable-xgl

init 5

You should have compiz enabled now.
