Compiz blur-plugin

I have testet a newer bild of compiz-git (070510) and the blur-plugin blurs whole windows in the background. In beryl only transluent pars will be blurt.
I wish that the blur from compiz will have the same blur-behaviour.

i hope we get similar features as well but
i will say Blur Plugin works sooo much
better "way smoother" now

In gconf-editor untick
/apps/compiz/plugins/blur/screen0/options/focus_blur

If you use another backend then look for something like that.

What string do you guys use for Alpha blur?

I ask because when I set it to any the fade effect shows a dark black background when the window is fading away.

i can change it to any and it works fine

As I only want it for my terminal I have

But you should also load the regex plugin to use the title match.

i want to be able to override the behaviour where the more transparent, the less blurred (or atleast for the window borders, cause otherwise my 100% transparent window borders aren't blurred :(
