Kinda hard to explain in the title. Anyway, I love beryl (i dont know what to call it anymore, if anyone can clear that up for me) and find it rather functional rather than just plain out amusing. The one thing that really bugs me though is that the ability to throw windows from one side of the cube to the next is just great, saves so much alt-tabbing, is limited to unmaximized windows. Every once in a while its useful to have the biggest possible screen without having to worry about half the buttons being off the cube.

When a window is maximized, it should still be able to be streched as it is, but when the curser is brought all the way to the side it should just snap to the next desktop. I dont see that as being the hardest thing in the world to code, but I think it would be extremely useful and save having to minimize, move, and re maximize whenever you want to move a maximized window.

You can:

1. Move switch viewport while moving a window, by default: shift-ctrl-alt arrows, I belive (I use shift-alt [qwes] myself).
2. Drag a maximized window by the title a little down, it should snapp off, move it where you want it, and drag it toward the top of the viewport, and it should snap back to maximized.

I'm not entirely sure what else you really want?

Oh, and if you're using Wall, you can move them in expo mode, which, for the record, is pretty handy.

Sometimes I wish I could just get rid of all the desktop switching stuff in wall and just use that handy little expo mode. Its a PITA to choose.
