Is putting Beryl on a live CD (in this case Ubuntu, but I am flexible) even possible? If so, can I please get instructions on how to do so? Thanks in advance!

i remember from the ubuntu forums[/url:e8756] that sabayon linux[/url:e8756] is like ubuntu and beryl on a live CD. i don't think it'll work seperataly cos you need to install the graphics carrd drivers..not sure if that's possible from a liveCD cos it's not supposed to change your install.

Both sabayon (which is gentoo based) and the latest version of knoppix have Beryl on them that you can use in Live CD mode.

PCLinuxOS and Mandriva One do as well, so there shouldn't be many problems finding one :)

There's plenty of tools you can find that can automaticly set up Beryl for a live cd, as the one for Sabayon is opensource so it shouldn't be too hard to get :)
