Hi, I have a problem and can't seem to figure it out. My system runs fine and logs out fine if I don't run beryl but if I start beryl and try to log out, my computer crashes. Even if I exit beryl before I try to log out it still crashes. It does this with gnome AND kde. I am using an nvidia 6200 graphics card and the nvidia driver from their website. When it crashes the icons dissappear and I am left with the desktop background and empty task bars, the mouse still moves and that is all, no other keys work. I hope someone can help me with this as it's really bugging me because I have to hard reset my pc to turn it off or not use beryl and I don't want to not use beryl!! Thanks

Also, I have just discovered that if I edit inittab to start in run level 3 instead of 5 then I can run beryl and log out without the computer crashing. As I am new to linux I am only guessing that this has something to do with the login manager but I have no idea how to fix this!

More info! when running beryl if I try to change the window manager to metacity it also crashes.

And sometimes, like once in a blue moon, it will log out without any problems!

If I kill the beryl process in the system monitor before I log out it works fine!

Fixed this by deleting my user and creating it again! Don't know why this worked or how but if it works it works, right!
