Hey,
I used the window settings plugin to get transparent menus in KDE by setting the rule
w:unknown:85
for opacity.
However this also affects several other windows, e.g. fullscreen windows of apps like gens or Penguin Racer. Is there a better method for this?

This worked for me, thanks!
I also noticed the problem with Penguin Racer. I keep the old Beryl-Manager running so I can easily switch back to KDM when I run video games. Then I have a button to re-launch Compiz-Fusion. I hear there's a new Fusion Icon somewhere, but I don't have time to "roll my own" so I'll have to wait until it's in the Gutsy repo.
