Getting a compiz-extras repo on git.freedesktop.org?

Has anyone spoken to David in getting a repo created so we can keep development in one place or somehow make it easier for David to either merge some plugins into compiz git or split things out?

What do you think?

Hopefully it will be set up soon, I think David is busy with the 0.3.4 release at the moment.
